Las Vegas Metro Housing Report- I Couldn’t Graph This Month’s Appreciation, It’s Not There

The latest single family housing numbers are out for the Las Vegas area, and the market continues to cool.  The median price of a single family home in September 2006 was $310,000.  The median price of a single family home one year ago?  Also $310K.  Here’s the updated appreciation chart from last month, but "zero" doesn’t graph very well. (Data from Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors) Prices have not been adjusted for inflation:

Hope Springs Eternal- Flippers Still Trying in Gilbert, AZ

There are still folks out there who didn’t get the memo- the air is out of the bubble, and a quick buck in the Phoenix area real estate market has gone the way of the dodo bird.
