I was reminded that not every professional strategist accepts the Rosenberg view. Pictet is one.

“Bill, For a contrary view on the US economy, which I think is essential for the ongoing debate, look also at this report from Pictet. Pictet is one of the top private banks in Geneva, especially for very wealthy clients from the Middle East.”

    Jan-Martin-

You are posting in the right place. Both this thread and the “Crack of Doom” are open threads. John and I both enjoy your comments and links wherever you chose to put them. : )

    Jan-Martin -

Thanks for all the good stuff. I look in both places, but many Doom readers will find your stuff easier in the more recent of “Crack of Doom” or “Op-Ed Friday”. So this will be the right place to contribute (and for readers to look) until Monday. Of course we place a lot of your finds on our sidebar, too! :)

    Housingdoomers-

I’m headed off to Sky Harbor- I’m getting away from the bubble in Phoenix and headed to Manhattan. I’m visiting family and look at the housing market in NY. (Which means I’m driving the family nuts!)

I’ll be in and out all week, but I’m leaving John to run the “office.” Keep him busy- I don’t want him hanging out by the water cooler! : )
