The election is over, and the Democratic Party will have control of both houses of Congress in January. As our friends at the Business & Media Institute have often reminded us, the GSEs in general, and Fannie Mae in particular, have deep roots in the party now coming to power on The Hill. What does this mean? Most likely GSE reform is dead in the water.
