20,459 Properties in Phoenix Metro Available Immediately

Find a vacant property, and you’ve probably found a motivated seller.  While the owners of occupied properties often have the luxury of waiting, generally a vacant property owner has a cash flow that is being negatively impacted. 

We’ve been looking at the vacancy rate in Phoenix over the last five months.  While the number of vacant properties has decreased since December, the vacancy rate has increased:

Aug 6, 2006–  46,338 properties listed, 20,414 vacant   Rate: 44%
Dec 1, 2006–  45,340 properties listed, 21,218 vacant   Rate:  46.8%
Jan 7, 2007–  42,561 properties listed, 20,459 vacant    Rate:  48%
