You’ve seen the ads. They say things like "I WILL GIVE $20,000 CASH TO BUY MY HOUSE," or Preconstruction Deal with 30-60K Back. Since most of us are accustomed to bringing cash TO closing, it’s hard not to wonder, "Is that exactly legal?"
