The NAR fired this jerk. He was wrong. He made them look bad. Now he is going someplace else and planning on dissing NAR to salvage his reputation. He has no reputation.

It is funny, my BiL had no idea that he was already leaving when I spoke to him yesterday, but he was not surprised.

Metro-

I've got to admit, I'm intrigued by his talk to me about that in two or three weeks comment. It will be interesting to see what his tone is then.

This comment hints, I think, of he and the NAR not parting on the best of terms.

Twist,

The take my BiL says is that lareah is tired of being a shill, and tired of the DC games. That is why the about face. If you like his recent stuff just wait till he free of NAR.

"Just four months ago, it looked like we were on the road to a very nice recovery. Then the subprime [mortgage] market blew up, and that has substantially inhibited lending. It was a monkey wrench that was thrown in; no one would have predicted it two years ago, no one."

Here is one of the "no one"'s who predicted this back in Nov 05. I'm sure there are many others...

WC-

Didn't you love that one? The man who's been saying, "This month really, really, cross my fingers and hope to die, is the bottom." for the past year, who wouldn't recognize a trough if it had water and livestock, feels good about his forecasting?

Here are some of those forecasts he feels so warm and fuzzy about.

Most folks would be embarassed.

I feel confident I did a very good job forecasting and reflected what was happening in the marketplace.

Nothing like a little self-awareness!

Where is Lereah, what have they done with him, and who was this imposter?

Wow, has he ever changed his tune. Whatever happened to the rain being to blame?

For once I actually want to applaud much of what Lereah's saying. It's not perfect, but it is so different, and such a good step in the right direction.

I'm not exactly giving a standing ovation...but I can't wait to see if this was a one-off, or if Lereah has turned over a new leaf.
