Check Out These Videos- Bad and Badder

I must confess though, it’s hard to say which one is scarier.  [Hat tip to E.S. for sending these to us!]

First is a news piece from Sacramento, showing the record number of foreclosures.  The second is on the lack of reality in A&E’s reality show, "Flip this House."

Enjoy- or whatever.

If that one hasn’t made you ill yet, try this one:

These  videos are especially sobering in light of today’s existing home sales numbers.  We’re going to see a lot more pain before the stories get any better.

along the same lines… but completely different…

I watch an hour of TV a week, sometimes a bit more, but no more than three. I watched a program tonight and was bombarded with no-interest for a year Lowe’s ads coupled to Huge price reductions at the local auto dealers… my o my it’s worse than I thought. Toyota has taken almost $5K off every vehicle.

That first one isn’t so much a “Feature Presentation”
as it is a “Preview of Coming Attractions.”

Coming soon to a subdivision near you…. in 3D Surround Sound!

I lived in the Sacramento area from 6/1996 to 6/2004, and I do remember Meadowview being a ghetto back in the late 1990s. I used to joke with my wife about how convenient it was for the hoodlums to break into cars in Elk Grove because of the adjacent proximity.

This brought back alot of memories. Sadly, those houses look nice, unfortunately, the demographics are very poor for the neighborhood.

I always enjoyed watching “flip this house.” But, I think it has run its course. I recently heard a radio advertisement for some “wealth building” seminar.

For several hundred dollars you could hear motivational speakers from the past and present. Tony Robbins (1990′s); Robert Kiosaki (rich dad, poor dad); Donald Trump (how many times has he been bankrupted?)there’s a business model for you!

But the last one on the line-up was Armando Montelongo (flip this house fame.)His empire must be crashing down, just like Houston, TX in the 1980′s.

I like how these people always always want to “share their success secrets” AFTER the fad is “played out!”

    MY ADVISE: Save your money!

I’m still waiting for my refund from Carleton Sheets program(Buy with no $$ down and no credit)from 1980′s..(okay I’m just kidding about this last one)
