Phoenix- “Sadly, we are trying to clear-out historic HIGH levels of inventory with historic LOW levels of sales”

While John is up in cool and lovely Halifax, enjoying a well deserved day off, we’re down here in Phoenix enjoying our first sweltering July day of 2007.  Sales are not so hot, however.

Measha’s professional singing debut was actually as a 19-year-old at the same venue (Mrs M recalls all the little M’s expressing doubts about an Opera act at the Tattoo!) Growing up in New Brunswick she’d always wanted to perform at the Metro Centre, inspired by a sister who’d come down to participate with one of the gymnastic teams. Last Thursday she turned 30, and is returning to the site of her first big gig. There will be performances every day until July 8th. Measha is going toe-to-toe with a Bass, Tenor, plus hundreds & hundreds of bag-pipes, drums, brass, and woodwind instruments. The choir is betting on the Soprano. ;)
