The Arizona Multiple Listing Service (ARMLS) released it’s report earlier this week. Their figures differ somewhat from those of Dr. Jay Butler of ASU’s Realty Studies, as their numbers are based on MLS activity. For some reason, the report was available on the ARMLS website Tuesday evening when I was working on my graphs. Wednesday evening, the report was gone.
According to the now missing report, 5439 properties sold in the month of June, down only slightly from last month’s 5795, but down 24.5% from June 2006. Inventory however, is up 20% from last year with 54,830 properties listed. This represents a 10.1 month supply of homes on the market- the highest level since January of this year, when there was a 10.7 month’s supply.
