Labor Day Holiday 
This really is the calm before the storm. Or perhaps the calm before the calm if George Bush and Ben Bernanke did their work well last Friday.
The turrets at Doom Castle will be manned with a skeleton staff today (actually Bart the skeleton from Doom’s dungeon, but enough of that …) We’re expecting plenty of action when the markets open on Tuesday, though. August was plenty busy, and with the financial grownups back from the beach and the mountains, anything could happen.
