Leslie Stahl is a lightweight on monetary policy and went for the easy questions while giggling girlie-girlie with Greenspan's wife. Nothing he said is new (newer than 3 months anyway). I would like to have heard his views on disintermediation of the mortgage market by investors and how the Fed has little control over this (Congress' job). Or how raising rates more aggressively in 2003 would have impacted the rest of the global economy. And how Chineese investment in USD has kept rates artificially low. And...
