Yes, I know the story….

I wasn’t going to mention it, but since half a dozen people have sent me the link-

An AP article by Adam Geller appeared in a number of publications yesterday.  The article was about the Villages in Queen Creek- a development of KB and Richmond American homes that has been hit hard by foreclosures.

Geller called me last month and asked me to recommend a neighborhood for him to look at.  M and I met him for lunch, then took the day and drove him out to Queen Creek and toured several neighborhoods.  We showed him the abandoned homes, the REOs,  and told him the history of the local boom and the bust.  So who did he quote?  Jay Butler and John Wake.

Ah well.

if they quoted you, they’d have to point out this site.

that’s the last thing anyone (REA advertisers & sellers) would want right now. they think their only way out is to find the next fool before anyone else does.

I like John Wake and his insights. I find his blog one of the more balanced esp. when you consider he’s an RE agent:

Jay Butler is a dope. Less than a year ago, he was spouting off that the Vally would have no bubble burst, no foreclosure problem, no market correction. He has as much insight into the real estate market as my cat.
