Hey Twist-

Saw this on the local Denver news last night and thought you might be interested. If you can't sell or rent it how about swapping. A Mesa AZ man is using Craigs List to find someone in Denver to swap houses with. A video goes along with it.

Jim -

Can't remember if you live in Phx or not, and I'm too lazy to check previous threads, but...
my lease is up again in the fall, and I'm going for the decrease. Love my house, though, so I may settle for zero increase.

so it seems like houses are off by .2 percent or less. Can't listen to the video at work, so I don't know if more detail was provided. So roughly instead of 18 houses per 10,000 vacant, we have 20 houses per 10,000 vacant. In a place with a million homes, you would have another 200 homes vacant. Substantial, but not the end of the world.

My lease just came up for the annual increase this month (I'm on month to month but the lease still says 5% annually), and the way I figure it, I'm already overpaying, so I told the landlord zero increase was warranted, not responding to their request to discuss it other than to cite cheaper availability right down the block and even in our own building.

I got my monthly statement last night - no increase. Landlords are aware of the situation out there right now, and to whatever extent they're not, you can make them aware.

Walton effect in full swing here. The Walton family didn't live together because they wanted to. I know of several families that 3 or 4 generations all live in one house.

Also I hate that little idiot Matt Miller he is such a cheerleader.
