Austin is beautiful this time of year, but I’m headed back to Phoenix for a few days. [Yeah it's in the 90s this week- but it's a dry heat.]

I flew in to Austin Tue 1:00 through clouds. On Wed. as I was ready to leave the sun came out. My luck. But it sure was green. What a different mindset the people I talked to than las vegas. West is really beautiful and the people are great. Also downtown Red Rock has the Louisiana Longhorn which is unbelievable BBQ. Enjoy the desert.

Mad? Yes- but I think I’m getting used to it. I pulled up CNBC’s website this morning and saw that Citibank is "shedding as much as $400B in assets". It sounds like quite a garage sale. I’d think it sounds worrisome- but we have Greenspan’s assurance that ‘the worst is over’.
