I remember 2 plumber no-shows, and 3 landscaper no-shows in Vegas in early '05. One landscaper took my money (deposit) and never returned. I would guess things are a lot different now, they are probably begging for business, that is if they are still in business. Interesting how quickly things can go from inability to get people to do work because demand for services is so high then to the same type businesses going broke a few years later. I bet there is a lot of this going on now.

If you're in the business of chasing rooftops, this is a disaster of epic proportions. Regretfully if someone wants to get into the cabinet and countertop biz they'll just wait for the firesale.
