Median Price Busters

You’ve seen the ads- "This property last sold at $500K- now asking $250K!"

Sometimes the lower prices are a result of a falling market, but sometimes the prices are a result of, shall we say, "property modifications" on the part of former homeowners and or tenants [Who paid to be there, or not].  Thanks to Eugene Garcia of the OC Register for sharing his Real Foreclosures of Orange County, including this custom paint job:

No wonder we are seeing median prices dropping in many areas.

    None of that confusion about which tan stucco home with the tile roof if yours, for sure.
