 A couple of years ago, he referred to the &#039;housing bubble&#039; generally, but especially the whole suburbia thing as; &quot;The greatest misallocation of resources in the history of the world.&quot;

 Given the problems that are starting to surface with energy, the destruction of farmland, the &#039;white flight&#039; from energy efficient cities... kinda hard to argue against that one.

 Yes, Kunstler is still a bit off... but it&#039;s worth reading his blog every so often.  Especially clusterf**k nation chronicles.
