To be clear on &quot;selectively&quot;, I mean it must be the case that the Fed is overpaying differing amounts to different parties.  They can&#039;t uniformly overpay to &lt;em&gt;everyone!&lt;/em&gt;

Some of the guys looking to offload that toxic sludge on the Treasury &amp; the Fed have long passed the &quot;offering my 15-year-old daughter&quot; stage and have entered &quot;offering my 15-year-old daughter for the purpose of dinner.&quot;  &lt;em&gt;Nobody&lt;/em&gt; has enough integrity to withstand these pressures when so much is at stake.  It&#039;s easy to see this process is not going to end well.</description>
