I was driving around in San Antonio yesterday and heard an ad for a local bank on the radio. The ad said, &lt;em&gt;&quot;You know your money is safe we us.  We have no subprime exposure and never invested in Fannie and Freddie.&quot;&lt;/em&gt;

We both no the claims are rather disingenuous, but I thought it showed how the American public is now viewing the GSEs- and the view isn&#039;t pretty.</description>
