  1. Poor guy…

    Thats heartbreaking.

    I hope he’s OK…

There is a good chance he will get a “sort of” honest renter.(As in, one month’s rent and let’s see how long it takes to evict me)

i’m with hutch……no deposit? sure…i’ll move in tommorrow with the first month’s rent. good luck tryin to get me out!!! we now know that he doesn’t even own the house??? doesn’t that make the potential renter just a potential squatter???

we REALLY need to keep working on various ways to bail out guys like this….LOL!!!!

points for honesty… for a reduced rent, and a home where I want to life, I’d rent from him. I’d pay him all year, and then heck, get a 5 year lease typed up, just in case this turns out to be owned by fannie or freddie or whoever isn’t going to evict renters anymore. win/win!

    AZSALUKI:

A squatter, but one with keys and a lease.

What is the eviction timeline for the bank once it takes the place back?

A renter could do pretty well. A friend of mine has been living in his house for more than 18 months without a payment. Still no eviction notice.

It must be rented, the add was deleted.

  7. AZSALUKI says:

or the unemployed banker that did the mortgage came across it while searching for a home. he’d have 2 choices…..report the add to the bank….or take the cheap rent!!!! ahhhh….moral dilemas?
