Crack of Doom: Under the Radar Week I

First an apology :(

One Doomer was kind enough to point out that with the 16-month saga of Canada’s "Montreal Accord" ABCP bailout coming to a climax, I had descended into heavy jargon and hard-to-understand references.[1]  Thanks for that e-mail!

Now for a request.  The holiday season is a favorite time for companies and governments to provide information they’re legally bound to share, but don’t actually want anyone to read.  Doomers please keep an eye out for Xmas packages from corporate PR that are trying to fly past under the radar.  Today might be a good time for Canada’s Prime Minister Steven Harper to stealthily slip through an C$8 billion dollar ABCP bailout of largely foreign banks, while Friday would be the perfect time for Treasury to announce something unsavory about TARP.

Please drop in a link if you see the grownups being sneaky … and give me a shout if I start posting gibberish again.

[1]: "S.W.A.G." just means a guess.  That was from my not-necessary-glorious years in the Military Industrail Complex.
