Roubini has been a puzzle wrapped in a enigma, shrouded by mystery or what not.

He thinks the world is ending, gets press time, and thunks we have averted the next depression. Whatever.

The single most major loss of the last year was no reform for the banking industry. We had one chanve and blew it on "tanks in the street" threats by a goldman sachs former head.

Keep up the good work.
My verification word is "undone" scary

John-

So Whalen thinks we'll keep on printing money, but Roubini does not? I wish Roubini would have said what he DOES see happening. As I understand it the U.S. has to print money, default or pay the bills in real money, and if the first two are less than optimal, I'm not certain how the third is possible.

Hello John!

I have not checked in for a while, I hope all is well.

Thanks so much for putting this transcript together, very interesting.

Last question was funny:
"I was wondering if you guys could comment on there being a correlation between the economic downturn and the high unemployment and stagnant and falling wages."
You think?
