Doom Transcripts: Index & Guide
Doom’s collection of transcripts of AEI seminars now features a date-order list of our transcripts and the same list in the context of close to a hundred further events that throw light on some aspect of the subprime crisis, housing bubble or credit crunch while offering an audio and/or video record. These all now have designation codes in case we want to create transcripts of some of them in future.
This made it necessary to change the designations on a couple of our existing transcripts. So a lot of the links in the participants and questioners sections needed to be moved around and fixed.
The under-construction transcript VI.B has now been re-designated VI.C.
Of the nine completed Doom AEI subprime transcripts one, III.A, has been re-designated IV.C.

The inconvenience comes from feeling obliged to plow through all this stuff in the attempt to mine a nugget or two of invaluable information.

Heh, data mining wouldn’t be any fun if it was easy
Yesterday I learned that a former Fed Governor was calling for up to 600 bank failures to occur in the US by 2011 in a seminar just 10 days ago. It’s in the in-progress transcript VI.D (about 36 minutes in):
Malthus-
As John indicated, there’s some good stuff in there- even if it is sometimes hard to find.
That’s a common problem though, even when the articles are short. I wonder sometimes if people figure we’re not working very hard when a post goes up on one small article. Of course, sometimes we have to wade through 20+ articles to find a nugget or two. Thankfully for the long stuff, Google usually picks us up in 10 minutes or so these days. Anyone looking for something specific will hopefully stumble upon what they need.
Igor says he’s bitter John- you aren’t using all of his space for archives are you? : )
