It looks like it’s "Home for the Holidays" in Arizona this year:
More people across the country are hitting the road for the holidays this year, but that’s not expected to be the case in Arizona.
AAA estimates that 3.8 percent more people nationally will travel during the holidays this year compared to last. In Arizona, the auto club says, the lingering weak economy will knock holiday travel down 5.7 percent this year.
L forwarded this to me with the following comment:
That’s so the bank doesn’t lock them out when they are gone.
If you don’t believe it- check out this link. You can’t be too careful.
Happy holidays!

Well Citi will not be locking anyone out for the next 30 days because:
a) out of the goodness of their hearts
b) to delay taking more mortgage related marks befoe year end
What do you think?
c) both of the above
they will have their cake and eat it too. balance sheet at 12/31 will look much better and if the accounting practices and loan valuation policies are ever brought into question, they can just say “we did it to help these homeowners get through the holidays.” it would be tough to punish them for that.
