I’ve seen any number of listings that said, “Move quickly- this one could go fast!” I’ve often thought when I’ve seen that phrase that the agent who wrote it was overly optimistic, or was hoping potential borrowers were terribly naive. I saw a “might go fast” listing today though for a lot west of Austin, TX that really pushes the plausibility envelope: (Click on image to enlarge.)
Maybe it’s time to update the listing. [And perhaps the price. I don't see any price reductions on the listing.] What do you think?

… earthquake fault runs through the property?
I hope not. A fault that close to me could do a real number on the dishes in my china cabinet.
I suspect the fact that it’s listed for about 20K more than a comparable lot close by (which isn’t selling either) and about $50K more than one that just sold recently might have something to do with it.
